The prestigious community of Old Metairie & Bucktown are suburbs of New Orleans. The commercial districts of Metairie Road/Lake Avenue areas are filled with small shops, coffee houses and grocery stores, bisects the area. Though most of Old Metairie and Lake Avenue are primarily residential they are flourishing with parks, schools and small businesses, making the areas posh with family-friendly neighborhoods.
